Coordination of resources/logistics so that service provision is delivered in a timely, effective, efficient, and professional manner

Vigilance to the Departmental Performance Matrix used to assess operational effectiveness. Making all possible endeavors to ensure that on a Shift-by-Shift basis, all activities align with successful Matrix trending.

Security Prevention Awareness to be proactively maintained.

Reporting all deficiencies promptly to minimize the opportunity for loss of company property , etc.

Accurate, detailed, and Timely delivery of required administrative reports (Oral, Written, Incident, Statements, Safety, etc.) to ensure each party is in an informed state.

Takes initiative, self-directed in person, working as a team or as an individual, ensuring that parade checks and timely deployment

Timely assessment for team members as per Barrick policies and procedures.

Ensure that all breaches in Search Policy are properly investigated and escalated to the Security Manager accordingly.

Ensure that the Search Procedure file is available at Access and Egress points for members to refresh themselves during execution of their duties
-
Ensure that all members are properly trained in Access control and guard post procedures in the Operation Section
-
Ensure that any functional breakdown in the access system is reported to Systems Technicians for repairs immediately
-
Daily physical inspection of all card readers at access/egress points in and around all gates and turnstile areas

Weekly fence line inspections were conducted and handed in on time
-
Ensuring that proper work procedures within the Operations Section are maintained and updated according to changes within the working environment, and reviewed and updated every quarter

All employees under your command are to be trained and brought to standard on all Security Policies and Procedures

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, AND ATTRIBUTES:
Qualifications

Form six or diploma in related field
-
Experienced in crime investigation and protection best practices
-
Competent in functional systems used in the organization
-
Ability to influence key stakeholders and foster excellent working relationships
-
Excellent communication skills and ability to prepare detailed reports.

Ability to formulate, introduce, and enforce written procedures to maintain company policy.

Excellent in Security Operations and Investigations
-
Excellent in SAP software
-
Excellent in Community relations and engagement
-
Having capacity to train and do assessments
-
Qualified security trainer.
Knowledge and Skills & Experience

Proven and developed leadership skills and ability to prepare and implement tactically sound orders to combat adverse incidents

High level of interpersonal skills.

Strong leadership skills.

Effective problem-solving methods.

Knowledge of Tanzanian customs and legal processes.

Excellent communication in English, both writing and verbal. Hazard identification and Risk assessment

Mine health & Safety Act awareness

5 years of experience in a similar field/role

Working experience in complex mining will be an advantage
