HJHI was named in honor of U.S. Medical doctor Henry Jefferson . Henry Jefferson spent all the years of his career helping poor people who couldn’t afford to get healthcare services due to poverty. He died in 2014 in Syria.
In honor of his charity work, Henry Jefferson Healthcare Initiative was founded in 2015 in USA by his co workers to make his legacy unforgettable by helping protect the health and social well-being of the people around the world
