Qualifications

• Advanced degree in business school, engineering school or equivalent university program
• Proven experience (≥ 8 years) in strategic, financial or regulatory analysis
• Locations: Antananarivo – Madagascar, Dar Es Salaam – Tanzania, Lomé – Togo, Dakar – Senegal, Dubaï

Your profile

• Strong analytical skills: ability to break down complex problems, quantitative reasoning and the ability to synthesize information.
• Excellent proficiency in Excel for financial modelling (business plans, projections, prudential ratios, sensitivity analyses).
• Very strong proficiency in PowerPoint
• Good understanding of regulated environments (banking, fintech, mobile money, financial services) and licensing processes.
• Intellectual rigor, a critical mindset and a commitment to high-quality analysis.
• Reliability, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple in-depth projects simultaneously.

Your challenges

• Post-merger projects. Assess the target company. Find the gaps. Map out how to integrate it well.
• Licensing applications. Write regulatory papers. This covers countries like Comoros, Madagascar, Algeria, Togo, and Tanzania. Work closely with the legal team.
• Financial modeling. Build business plans. Run financial projections. Check capital ratios and risk scenarios.
• Strategic reports. Write background reports. Include impact studies and recommendations. The PMO finalizes and submits them.
• M&A due diligence. Check deals from all angles: commercial, financial, and regulatory.
• Entity structuring. Study options like subsidiaries or spin-offs. Check the rules after getting a license.
• Quality control. Check sources. Keep data accurate. Document all assumptions clearly.
