Job Title: Logistics  Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor animal feed orders and deliveries to various customer locations across the country.
• Manage a team of support staff and drivers to ensure the timely, safe, and cost-effective transportation of goods.
• Handle transportation challenges, including route planning, vehicle maintenance coordination, and responding promptly to emergencies.
• Collaborate closely with Sales and Warehouse teams to ensure seamless order processing, dispatch, and delivery.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, road safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and control logistics costs to drive operational efficiency, includes fuel consumption, maintenance cost, driver expense, etc
• Prepare regular reports on delivery performance, fleet utilization, and related KPIs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in logistics or transport management, preferably in FMCG or agribusiness sectors.
• Strong leadership, management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Sound knowledge of Tanzanian road networks and transport regulations.
• Proficiency in using logistics management software and Microsoft Office tools.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
