On behalf of our Tanzania based client, we are looking for a competent and experienced Operator (Bunching 630, Lead Machine, Mica Tapping, Pairing).

Location: Dubai, UAE

Department: Production/Manufacturing

Reports to: Shift Supervisor/Production Manager

Job Purpose:

The Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining machines used in the cable manufacturing process, including Bunching 630, Lead Machine, Mica Tapping, and Pairing. The role ensures efficient production while maintaining quality, safety, and operational standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

1. Machine Operation & Production

1. • Operate and monitor Bunching 630, Lead Machine, Mica Tapping, and Pairing machines according to production schedules.
   • Adjust machine settings to meet product specifications and quality requirements.
   • Conduct regular inspections to ensure smooth machine operation and detect any issues.

1. Quality Control

1. • Check and verify product dimensions, insulation, and electrical properties.
   • Ensure compliance with MESC cable manufacturing standards.

1. • Report defects or irregularities to the quality control team.

1. Maintenance & Troubleshooting

1. • Perform minor machine maintenance and cleaning to avoid downtime.
   • Identify and report mechanical issues to the maintenance team for repairs.
   • Ensure proper lubrication and upkeep of machine components.

1. Safety & Compliance

1. • Adhere to workplace safety guidelines and MESC Cables’ health and safety policies.
   • Wear required PPE and follow operational safety procedures.
   • Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment.

1. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of machine settings, production output, and downtime.
• Report daily production data to the shift supervisor.
• Assist in continuous improvement initiatives by providing operational feedback.

Work Environment

• Shift-based work in a manufacturing setting.
• Exposure to machinery noise, heat, and industrial equipment.
• Requires standing for long periods and occasional heavy lifting.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: High school diploma or technical diploma in mechanical/electrical engineering preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in cable manufacturing or a similar production environment.
• Technical Skills:

• 1. Proficiency in operating Bunching 630, Lead Machine, Mica Tapping, and Pairing machines.
  2. Understanding of cable insulation, wiring, and electrical standards.
  3. Basic troubleshooting and machine maintenance knowledge.

• Soft Skills:

• 1. Attention to detail and quality control.
  2. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
