Job Summary
Our Client is looking for a Shift Supervisor who will be responsible for managing and supervising team, setting up, operating, and maintaining extrusion machinery to produce high-quality products in the plastic department. This role involves monitoring the extrusion process, adjusting settings, ensuring product specifications are met, and conducting routine maintenance tasks. He/she plays a critical role in maintaining production efficiency, quality standards, and overall safety within the manufacturing facility
Responsibilities
- Responsibilities include supervising the team to meet production targets,
- setting up and operating machinery while adjusting equipment for product specifications,monitoring production processes, and ensuring product quality through regular checks.
- Additional tasks involve troubleshooting and resolving minor equipment issues to minimize downtime, performing routine machinery maintenance, collaborating with the team to coordinate raw material supply,
- maintaining accurate production and maintenance records, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and training new team members on equipment operation and maintenance.
Requirements
- A diploma or equivalent is required, with additional technical training or certifications considered a plus.
- Experience in managing a team and expertise in plastic injection molding, rotational molding (tanks), or pipe extrusion.
- With a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Candidates should have proven ability to operate extrusion machinery, understand extrusion processes.
- Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and technical manuals is essential, along with a detail-oriented approach focused on quality and efficiency.
- Effective communication, teamwork skills, and physical stamina are also necessary.
