PROCUREMENT OFFICER II Jobs in Dar es salaam

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
i.To identify and prepare appropriate tender document for use in procurement processes;

ii.To prepare advertisements of tender opportunities;

iii.To prepare Secretariat papers for review and adjudication by the Tender Board documents;

iv.To consolidate requirement from user department for preparation of Annual Procurement Plan;

v.To prepare various procurement reports;

vi.To prepare and issue clarifications/addenda to tendering documents;

vii.To review tender evaluation reports prior to submission to tender board;

viii.To prepare tender opening and opening of received tenders;

ix.To maintain tender records; and

x.To perform any other related duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor Degree or Advanced Diploma in Procurement and Supplies Management, Material Management, Business Administration majoring in Procurement and Logistics Management, Logistics Management or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution and must be registered with the Procurement and Supplies Professionals and Technician Board (PSPTB) as a Graduate Procurement and Supplies Professional.
