Job Overview:

The Software Engineer at Rasello will be responsible for designing the development and implementation of software systems. Updating of existing software and conducting feasibility studies on the systems may also be required. The duties also include code applications, creating reports, etc.

Location: Rasello – Dar es Salaam

Responsibilities
• Planning, coordinating, and conducting multiple complex software engineering activities
• Create and participate in software planning and estimating, status monitoring and reporting
• Software design, prototyping, and investigating
• Software coding and unit testing
• Conducting feasibility studies for upgraded software systems
• Working with the Technology team on tasks such as coding, testing, debugging, and analytics
• Writing advances programming code
• Reviewig updated software systems
• Writing development reports
• Creating technical documents for new software platforms
• Participate in the pursuit of new business by identifying opportunities and contributing to proposal preparation

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• Previous experience as a software engineer / developer
• Advanced knowledge of programming languages including JavaScript, HTML5, C++, Java, SQL, and PHP
• Knowledge of system frameworks including .NET, Git, AngularJS, and GitHub
• Experience creating and maintaining databases
• Experience working with Agile development technologies
• Good interpersonal skills
