Job Title: Tandoor Chef Trainee


Summary:

  • Tandoor Chef Trainee  will assist senior chefs, learn to operate tandoor equipment, and support daily kitchen operations. This role offers valuable hands-on experience in a professional hospitality environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of traditional tandoori dishes.
  • Learn and maintain proper use of tandoor oven and equipment.
  • Ensure food is prepared in compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen work area.
  • Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations.
  • Monitor ingredient stock levels and communicate needs to kitchen supervisor.
  • Participate in food preparation for events and special functions as required.

 


Other Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • Certificate in Food and beverage, Hotel Management, or a related field.
  • Culinary or previous kitchen experience is an advantage.
  • Strong interest in tandoor cooking.
  • Knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
