Purpose Turkish Language Program in Turkiye
To organize courses for students who come to our country with state scholarships from Turkish Republics within the framework of the Great Student Project; private students from Turkish communities and students from European, Asian, African and Middle East countries who wish to study in Turkey and foreigners who are in Turkey for trade-industry and diplomatic purposes.
During the international training program, participants will attend various seminars conducted by leading professors and expert speakers. They will get to visit vibrant cultural places in Turkey.
Through this cultural exchange program in Turkey, participants will have a unique experience which they can cherish for years. KATIP scholarship program is an incredible opportunity for researchers, academics, public officials, diplomats, and activists alike.
Participants will attend workshops and gain firsthand experience of Turkish society. They will get a chance to explore arts, and sports activities of Turkey. The program will also include institutional visits. During the training program, participants will interact with think tank groups, media houses, public institutes, and educational institutions to learn from their knowledge and experience.

Eligibility Criteria for Turkish Language Program in Türkiye:
- Applicants must be foreign nationals.
- Applicants should not be citizens of Republic of Turkey.
- Applicants must not be blue card holders.
- Applicants should not have lost Turkish citizenship for any reason.
- Applicants who are public officials should have minimum 3 years of relevant work experience. They should have a Master’s or PhD degree.
- Applicants who are Academicians and researchers must be working at a university or research center. They should have a Master’s or PhD degree.
- Applicants must be under the age of 40.
- Applying must have English language proficiency.
- Applicants must not be residing in Turkey.
- Applicants who have already availed or currently availing any other Turkey Scholarships program are not eligible to apply.
