Mzumbe University (MU)  is the among  of oldest university from Tanzania , Mzumbe college became installed by the Mzumbe University charter, 2007 under section 25 of the colleges act. No. 7 of 2005 which repealed Mzumbe University act. No nine of 2001. As a training institute, the college boasts of over 50 years experience of training within the administration of justice, commercial enterprise control, public administration, accountancy, finance, political technological know-how and right governance.
