NPC, short for National Printing Company Limited was incorporated on 30th May, 1967 as a Public owned Company under Company’s Ordinance, Cap. 212 of the Laws of the United Republic of Tanzania with Certificate of Registration/incorporation number 4139.The Company was then bought by its former Management and workers through a Scheme under Management and Employees Buy Out (MEBO) on 12th February, 2002, with Certificate of Registration/incorporation number 35482 dated 29th December, 1998 (KIUTA (1998) Limited).
