New Ajira Portal Jobs System Updates
Following the improvements made to the Ajira Portal system, job seekers who have already entered their information into the Ajira Portal system, should update their Secondary education information using the Form Four examination number (Index Number) in the “Academic Qualifications” section.
For those who have passed Form Six, they will be required to enter the Form Six examination number also in their Ajira Portal system accounts in the Form Six information area.
This changes is necessary as job seekers will not be able to continue with the submission of job applications until their Form Four and Six educational information has been updated.
In addition, following these improvements, job seekers will not be required to enter copies of their Form Four and Six certificates into the Ajira Portal system, instead they will use their Form Four and Six index numbers ONLY.
By doing so, their information will be taken directly from the system managed by the TANZANIA EXAMINATIONS BOARD.
For applicants who studied Form Four and Six abroad, they will also be affected by these changes and will use the ‘equivalence number’ they receive from the TANZANIA EXAMINATIONS COUNCIL to update their information.
UPDATES DETAILS OF COURSES APPLICANTS HAVE STUDIED
This area has also been improved following the feedback from stakeholders, previously in this area the user was required to first select the ‘category’ followed by their course, now the user will be required to search directly for their course regardless of which ‘category’ it is in and then select their course.
NEW LOOK OF THE JOB PORTAL SYSTEM
Technological changes have also improved the look of the system and created a friendly environment especially for those who use mobile phones (Smartphones).
NB: These improvements are in the Job Portal System Only and when Interviewees are called for Interview, they will be required to come with their original certificates from Form Four onwards.
