Job Title: Storekeeper


Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure regular stock updates.
  • Conduct frequent inventory audits and report any discrepancies.
  • Monitor stock levels and work closely with the procurement team to avoid stock outs.
  • Process stock issuance requests accurately and ensure timely dispatch to project sites.
  • Maintain a clean, organized warehouse in line with company layout standards.
  • Label and tag all items properly to ensure correct identification and minimize item misplacement.
  • Enforce warehouse safety standards and ensure safe handling of batteries and hazardous materials.
  • Prepare and submit timely and accurate inventory and warehouse reports.
  • Use inventory management software and maintain up-to-date system records.
  • Respond promptly to the needs of the project team and support efficient warehouse operations.
  • Maintain excellent attendance and demonstrate a high level of reliability and teamwork.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Certificate in Store keeping, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related technical field.
  • Secondary school certificate required at minimum.
  • At least 2 years of experience in store keeping or inventory control.
  • Prior experience managing technical or solar-related inventory is an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with basic procurement procedures and warehouse workflows.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management systems such as Excel, QuickBooks, or Zoho.
