Mbeya University: This is one of the most universities in Tanzania, Mbeya Univesity was established in 2012 in the under university ACT 2005. Prior to that the college was known as Mbeya Technical College then the government changed it to Mbeya Institute Of Science and Technology and later was given the status of to be Mbeya University of Science and Technology.

All applicants for Certificate, Diploma and Bachelor wishing to apply for Admission at Mbeya University of Science and Technology (MUST) are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of 10,000/= WHILE for Postgraduate Programmes are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of 50,000/= through TIGO PESA, M-PESA, AIRTEL MONEY OR through National Microfinance Bank (NMB) OR Tanzania Postal Bank (TPB PLC) after obtaining Control Number from Online Application System (OAS).
