Job Description

Our client is seeking a detail oriented and process driven Quality Control Officer to join the manufacturing and production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring production processes, inspecting materials and finished products, and ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulations. This role is essential to maintaining high product quality, reducing defects, and supporting continuous improvement efforts within the production environment.

Responsibility
  • Inspect raw materials and finished products to ensure they meet required quality standards and specifications.
  • Monitor production processes and identify deviations or inconsistencies, recommending corrective actions as needed.
  • Conduct routine quality audits and prepare detailed reports for management to support continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and improve manufacturing procedures.
  • Maintain and update quality control documentation, including inspection checklists, test results, and compliance records.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or any related field
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Kiswahili, essential for reporting and teamwork
  • At least 2–5 years of experience in quality control or assurance within the manufacturing or production industry
  • Strong attention to detail and polished reporting and documentation skills, with a professional approach
  • Ability to initiate, develop, and maintain professional relationships across departments to ensure consistent quality standards
